Early Fraternity Life and Career
McCormick attended Mars Area High School in the small town of Mars, Pennsylvania. After graduating in 2009 with high honors, she currently attends Edinboro University of Pennsylvania majoring in German Secondary Education. She also has a minor in Environmental Studies. McCormick decided to join Phi Sigma Pi in Fall 2010 as a member of the Gamma Alpha pledge class. She was the Scholarship chair of her pledge class.
Collegiate Years at Upsilon
As a member of the Fall 2010 Gamma Alpha pledge class, McCormick held the role of Scholarship chair. After becoming a Brother, McCormick became Risk Management Chair Spring 2011. During her time as Risk Management Chair, McCormick hosted an event showing awareness of the dangers of abusive relationships and what to do if you or someone you know is faced with an abusive relationship. This event earned Upsilon Chapter the Outstanding Risk Management Program Award at the 2011 National Convention held in Washington, D.C. where she served as a Grand Chapter Delegate. Currently, McCormick serves as Upsilon Chapter's Parliamentarian and Standards Advisor for the 2011-2012 school year.
