Early Fraternity Life and Career
Emma Peterson decided to attend American University in order to pursue her interest in international relations. She later changed her major to health promotion after she discovered her passion for health, nutrition, and physical fitness.
Emma first became interested in Beta Lambda after her friend Fiona Erickson mentioned in conversation. After hearing about the values of Phi Sigma Pi, Emma was intrigued and wanted to learn more. At the first rush event that she attended, she met many of the brothers and quickly learned that Beta Lambda was the place for her. Emma was inducted as part as a member of Delta Class in the Fall Semester of 2012.

Emma was elected Secretary in a special election held in January 2014 to serve for the remainder of the academic year.
