James Martinez (born 13 August 1985) is an Active Member of Delta Iota Chapter at New Mexico State University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
James went to Espanola Valley High School located in Espanola, New Mexico. He began college at Northern New Mexico College where he obtained a Material Science Technology A.S. and worked with the Material Science Division for Los Alamos National Laboratory. Soon after completion of the A.S. degree, James transferred to NMSU where he is currently working towards Civil Engineering degree. The first time James learned of PSP he was in the Corbett Center Student Union Building with several other friends, and he was intrigued by the table set up inviting new people to join the honors fraternity. His curiosity kept him interested and he soon was a fellow initiate. In December of 2008, James was inducted into PSP. During the initiate process he was the Vice President of the initiate class.
Collegiate Years at Delta Iota Chapter
In his first Active semester at Delta Iota, in the Spring of 2009, James became the Scholarship & Awards Committee Co-Chair.
National Involvement
James' has not yet been involved in any national events, however, he is looking into the event called WICKED.
Bigs and Littles
James' Big Brother is Alexander Arn, who is an Alumnus of Delta Iota and is currently working at Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM and completing his MBA.
James does not currently have any Little Brothers.
