Jason Silovitch (born 27 December 1986) is an Active Member of Gamma Xi Chapter (ΓΞ 225) at Drexel University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Joined Gamma Xi of Drexel University thanks to the persuasion of Lin Cheng. Lin and Jason both rushed and were inducted into the Sigma class during the Spring of 2006, along with Emily, Sarah, Dave, Jenae, Angie...

Collegiate Years at Gamma Xi Chapter

Jason was Historian of his Sigma class and Service Chair during the winter term of 2007. Successful events that were planned included: cleaning up Cobb's Creek, participating in the annual MS Walk at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and participating in a Walk For Hearing in honor of Brother Charlie Pindle.

Further Resources

  • Jason was away on co-op during Spring/ Summer terms of 2008 working at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), where he still continually works per diem. He spent his Spring/ Summer terms of 2009 working at Cooper University Hospital in the Emergency Room, where he had a blast. Since his supervisor is holding a position open in the SICU, he plans to move back home after graduation, though would love to work Baylor at Cooper.

Other Interesting Facts

Plans to buy and remodel his own house within one year after graduation. Would love to apply for a contractor's license as well. Previous home improvement projects include: making shot glass holders for my mother, installing a stockade wooden fence along 3 sides of my parent's backyard, re-finishing my parent's deck with a plastic composite, installing laminate hardwood floors throughout most of the house, painting, installing new light fixtures, creating in the wall book cases, installing new interior doors, trim and moulding work, had the experience with simple tile projects.
