Early Fraternity Life and Career
I came to Kutztown in Fall 2007, looking for a way to get involved. I wanted to find a main group of friends that I could call "my family away from home". In Sping of 2008, I received a letter in my campus mail about Phi Sigma Pi. I was a little weary, but I honestly cannot picture myself without the Fraternity. It honestly was one of the best decisions of my life. I rushed that Spring Semester, as part of the lovely Lambda class. As an initiate, I was selected to be the Historian for my class. Taking pictures is the story of my life, so I thoroughly enjoyed that! :)
Collegiate Years at Epsilon Alpha Chapter
I was inducted as a Brother on April 27th, 2008. I served as the Social Chair for 2 semesters. I really had a blast hosting fun events! I also served as the Public Relations Chair. I really enjoyed this position because I helped to reach our chapter on the campus. I am now the Brother-At Large, which allows me to be a mentor to my fellow Brothers and plan our big, fun Brother Bonding Retreat :) I have a wonderful Big and Little, that mean a lot to me.
Bigs and Littles
- Big- Katie Pursell. I was so excited to be paired with her. We have so much fun together and is a helpful person to me. She is one of my role models. We grew so close that we decided to room together during my sophomore and junior year. :)
- Little- Jummy King. Jummy is my fashionista! She is the best Little ever! She is a good listener and gives advice very well. She is fun, bubbly, and LOVES FASHION! She pretty much is my twin! I always enjoy being with her, as we joke around all the time.
I am truly so fortunate to have these girls in my immediate family :)
Other Interesting Facts
- I drive a Blue VW Beetle named Cinderella.
- My favorite color is yellow. It is my entire wardrobe
- Music and dancing are my passions. I do have dance parties daily.
- Yes, I am a Jonas Brothers fan. Joe Jonas IS my husband :)
- I don't know where I would be without my family and friends. They mean the world to me.
- Twizzlers and Peanut M&Ms are my favorite candy.
