She chose Temple University because of its' closeness to Drexel University where a man she was pursuing attended. She did not want to go to Drexel because she thought that would be creepy. So, she chose Temple instead and is happy with the choice because the man is no longer in the picture. As a freshman, she joined the Temple University Snowboarding Club. As a sophomore, she was still looking for a student organization to become heavily involved in. In the beginning of the Fall semester of 2010, another brother told her about Rush. Interested by the blend of scholarship, leadership and fellowship, as well as the co-ed aspects of the organization, she rushed Phi Sigma Pi Fall of 2010. Katharine received a bid, and after a successful Initiation period serving as Initiate treasurer, she was Inducted into the Chapter with the Alpha Tau Initiate Class in November of 2010. | |
