Early Life and Education

Kyle Thomas Protho was born on November 7th, 1989 in Rochester, Pennsylvania. He obtained his elementary school and middle school education at Harding Elementary and Middle School in Erie, Pennsylvania. He graduated from high school from the prestigious and public Northwest Pennsylvania Collgiate Academy with Cum Laude honors.

During his years in high school, Kyle participated in both Varsity football and track & field in which he represented the Central Tech High School Falcons. Kyle was a 6-time Varsity letter recipient, making him a Varsity competitor all 3 years of his participation in high school athletics. In 2008, he was inducted into the Save-An-Eye Erie City all-star hall of fame for his performance on the football field throughout his high school career. Kyle was also successful on the track. In 2007, he qualified for the District 10 championships in both the 100m dash and 200m dash. In 2008, he qualified again in the 100m dash and 200m dash in which he placed 8th overall in both events. He also qualified in the triple jump championship in which he placed 7th overall.

College Career

Kyle Thomas Protho was offered an early acceptance into Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in the spring of 2008. He immediately began his work to earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. In the spring of 2011, he added a second major - a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He consistently earned Dean's List honors during his semesters at Edinboro University. In the spring 2012 semester, he registered with the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) and scheduled his Law School Admissions Test (LSAT). His anticipated date of graduation in May 2013.

Kyle choose to continue his track & field career as an Edinboro Fighting Scot. He competed his 1st and 2nd years at Edinboro. He took a year long hiatus from the track during his 3rd year but commenced his track career in his 4th year.

Kyle became heavily involved in Greek life on campus immediately upon entering college. He pledged Phi Kappa Psi in the spring 2009 semester. He is currently the only member from that pledge class. He quickly rose through the ranks in his Penn Xi chapter, becoming President as a second semester sophomore. Other positions he has held include Vice President, Secretary, Pledge Educator, Grivence chairman, Recruitment chairman, Social chairman, and Scholarship chairman. He has also experienced success in the national arena of Phi Kappa Psi. He was been the Penn Xi delegate to 3 national elections held at the large campuses of Buffalo University and Ohio State University and one election at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. In 2011, he ran for a two-year District II Archon position - an undergraduate position on the National Executive Board - in which he placed 2nd out of 7 other candidates.
