Early Fraternity Life and Career
Epsilon Alpha was still fresh and new when Lindsay went out to join during the Spring Semester of her Freshman year. She felt very much at home when she went to the various events for Rush and was asked to be an Initiate. This changed her life because for the next three years at Kutztown University, Epsilon Alpha became her second family; not to mention, some of the greatest friends she never thought she'd have. :)
Collegiate Years at Epsilon Alpha Chapter
Lindsay started her journey with Epsilon Alpha during the Spring Semester 05'. She was inducted with the Epsilon class on April 17th. Fall Semester of Lindsay's Sophomore year, she was the Recruitment Adviser during her first active semester as a Brother. The Brotherhood really supported everything Lindsay did, especially when she was in the Initiate Committee.
Fall of 2006, Lindsay asked her Brothers to participate in a fundraiser for The Children's Home Society of NJ (The organization she was adopted through). Epsilon Alpha helped to raise over $500 for the organization.
Lindsay spent two semesters on Initiate Committee. During this time, she created the Initiate Retreat that has been improved over the years.
During her last active semester at Kutztown, Lindsay was Parliamentarian. She spent time helping to revise and edit the documents so that future Brothers would have more clarity on the Bylaws and COP.
Lindsay has attended National Convention in DC and New Orleans. She also was a Delegate at the Grand Chapter/NC event in New Orleans and hopes to return to the event when it's held in Harrisburg in 2010. :)
Delta Chi also has the greatest Kickball Tournament weekend at Lehigh University. That was the first real event Lindsay went to on her own and made some fabulous friends.
Bigs and Littles
Lindsay had a great Big, Lance Dixon.
Lindsay has taken 3 Little Brothers, Amanda Howey was the greatest and only one to stick around!! Her first GrandLittle became a Brother during Fall 2008 semester, Steph Snodgrass.
