Since Luigi's time at [https://www.camdencatholic.org Camden Catholic High School], he knew that he wanted to join a fraternity. However, [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phi_Sigma_Pi Phi Sigma Pi's] tripod appealed to him much more than any social fraternity. After an immersion trip to El Paso with Brothers [[Tony Newton]] and [[Samantha DiGiuseppe]], he had to rush. In February of 2014, the [[Zeta Iota|Zeta Iota Chapter]] gave him a bid; in May of 2014, the chapter inducted Luigi as a Brother of Phi Sigma Pi. Throughout his collegiate years, Luigi was extremely involved at SJU including being a University Student Senator, coordinating Campus Ministry's Ignite Retreat and Immersion Program, and serving as a tour guide and on numerous university Advisory Committees.
