Early Fraternity Life and Career
During Mandi'd first semester at Montclair State she attended several Phi sigma Pi Rush events with the encouragement of her cousin Brandi Ragas. She knew she could not take part in the initiation process however, because it was her first semester at MSU. Mandi waited another semester and when she was eligible started the process all over again, this time finishing it. She was inducted as a Brother of the Alpha Iota Chapter in the spring of 2007
