Early Fraternity Life and Career
Mandi pledged in the spring semester of her Freshman year, as a proud member of the Alpha Lambda class. With her father in Iraq, and with being away from home for the first time, Mandi was actively searching for a family and found that in the Alpha Iota Chapter of Phi Sigma Pi.
Collegiate Years at Alpha Iota Chapter
Mandi was nominated for the position of Scholarship Chair for the 2007-2008 school year and was elected. During the 2008-2009 school year, Mandi served as Initiation Advisor, bringing in 14 new Brothers. As Initiate Advisor, Mandi's goal was to create strong potential Brothers, who would be willing to lead and who would have a true understanding of fellowship. Though the job was sometimes difficult, Mandi considered it to be one of the best aspects of her experiences in the Alpha Iota Chapter. Mandi's love for Phi Sigma Pi was seen when she ran for Presidentfor the 2009-2010 school year. Mandi would have gladly taken any position, happy to be wherever Phi Sigma Pi needed her.
