Marcus Hosteen (born October 28) is an Active Collegiate Member of the Delta Iota Chapter of Phi Sigma Phi National Honor Fraternity at New Mexico State University [1].

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Marcus Hosteen went to Shiprock High School in Shiprock, New Mexico and graduated in 2010 at the top of his class, Valedictorian and had a cumulative GPA of 4.067. He came to NMSU because of scholarship money and it was the furthest he could get away from home while still remaining in New Mexic0o. Marcus became involved in Phi Sigma Pi after meeting with Recruitment Advisor, Cynthia Mondragon who convinced him to give the Fraternity a chance and after successful completed the Initiate Process was inducted into the Fraternity in Fall 2011.

Marcus is involved in a number of other university organizations including Phi Sigma Pi, they include:

• Gamma Beta Phi National Honor Society
• Sigma Alpha Lambda National Honor Society

• Native American Business Student Association (NABSA)
• United Native American Organization (UNAO)

Marcus is active in all these organizations including holding officer positions in each. In terms of the Chapter Marcus is currently the Chapter Treasurer and is the chair for the Fundraising and Service Committee.

National Involvement

Marcus attended the WICKED convention in Phoenix, Arizona in February 2011.

Currently Marcus plans to the attend the National Convention in 2013.

Travis D. Gee is Marcus' Little. In addition to Marcus, Travis also had two other Littles, Michael Row and Roxanne De Luna.
