Early Fraternity Life and Career
I came to Kutztown in 2005. I decided after freshman year that I needed to do something with my time here. I had received the rush letter in the Spring, but wasn't sure if I wanted to be part of something Greek. Once I heard more about PSP from two of the Brothers, I decided to rush the following semester, which was the Fall of my Sophomore year. I loved it immediately. I was the Fundraising Chair for the Theta Class. We had the first bake sale down at CVS and made $85, I think.
Collegiate Years at Epsilon Alpha Chapter
In Fall of '07 I was Service Chair. I was Vice President from Spring 2008-Fall 2008. Now, in my last semester, I'm a member of the Service and Formal Committees. Without Epsilon Alpha, I wouldn't have stayed at Kutztown. Love you guys! <3
Bigs and Littles
My Big was Monica Bernarde, who graduated in Spring of 2008. She is a Special Ed/Elementary Ed Major.
My first little was Katie Pursell. She was a member of the Kappa Class in Fall of 2007. She was Recruitment Advisor and is now Initiate Advisor.
My second little was Jill Morgan. She was a member of the Lambda Class in Spring of 2008. She is currently on Rush Committee and before that she was on the Initiate Committee.
Other Interesting Facts
- I am a Senior Professional Writing major with a Public Relations minor. I'm interning at the Small Business Development Center as their editor. I write stories, press releases and edit everything that comes through the office. I graduate in May and after that I will be attending Temple University going for my Master of Journalism. I want to write for an entertainment magazine someday.
Phi Sigma Pi has been a huge part of my college career and I can't imagine life without it and the amazing people I met throughout my time here. I can't believe it's almost over. <3
I'm obsessed with The Office. I love movies and music. I wish I had more time to read, but that's what summer is for. I love the beach and I have a shopping addiction.
