Megan Purkey (born July 13, 1986) is an Active Member of Gamma Pi (#202) at [Towson University].

Early Fraternity Life and Career
After deciding to become an elementary education major, Megan chose to attend nearby Towson University. She joined the marching band as a freshman, playing the piccolo, and continued through her sophomore year. That spring, a fellow flute player told her about Phi Sigma Pi at a pep band game and they attended the meet night together. The rest, as they say, was history. Megan was inducted with seven others as the Sigma Class of Gamma Pi in May, 2006. She is currently student teaching in Harford County and will graduate this Spring, 2008, with a B.S. in elementary education, and an English/Creative Writing minor.
