Michael Ley (born 31 May 1989) is an Active Member of Gamma Xi at Drexel University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Mike was initiated in the Chi class of Gamma Xi Chapter. After induction, he ran for and won fundraising chair. He held the fundraising chair for the fall and winter terms, holding such events as 50/50 tickets and penny wars. A bake sale was also organized to help offset the cost for participating Brothers in another event held by the social committee.

Collegiate Years at Gamma Xi

In Winter term, 2009, Michael was elected Historian of Gamma Xi chapter. His first goal the following spring was to create a family tree that could be displayed at such events as pinning and induction. After being inactive for the summer term, his first goal for the fall term was to create a database online for pictures to be posted. A flickr account was quickly filled by the Brothers of Gamma Xi, so the account was expanded.

In the future Mike plans to increase involvement of Brothers on the Phi Sigma Pi Wikipedia page.
