She first became interested in Phi Sigma Pi after her friend, Lydia Manchester, told her about it. After meeting some of the brothers of the Beta Lambda chapter and learning more about the principles of the organization, Nancy was enthralled. She was inducted the Spring semester of her sophomore year, 2013, and became a member of the Epsilon Class of Beta Lambda.
