- Definition: This proposal is to create a further form of recognition beyond the Five Star Regional Conference Award and Top in Region Award. This Award will recognize a particular undergraduate Chapter at each Region Conference that has traveled the greatest distance, and has sent the most Brothers, to attend their Conference. Is is not anticipated that this will interfere with any National Award, local award (i.e. specific awards already in place or superlatives currently used at Region Conferences) nor would it require the involvement of the Awards, Scholarship, and Emblem Committee.
- Calculation: For each Region Conference, the number of Brothers (Active, Alumni and Honorary) in attendance from a specific Chapter shall be multiplied by the distance traveled in miles to the host. Host Chapters shall not be eligible. The winning Chapter shall be the one with the largest total.
- Implementation: Upon approval, notification of this award shall be communicated to the Region Consultants in a timely manner, so that Region Conference Delegates are made aware of its creation, with the intent of the first awards being made with the Spring 2013 Region Conferences.
- What is the motion to be made on this? I move to create a Region Conference Most Traveled Chapter Award
