Rebecca Ann Street (born May 18, 1988) is a brother of Gamma Upsilon Chapter (Tau Class, Spring 2007) at the University of Kentucky. Originally from Clemson, SC she graduated from D.W. Daniel High School in 2006. In her time as a brother, Rebecca has served as the Fundraising committee secretary, the Parliamentarian, and as Service Chair.

Early Fraternity Life and Career


Rebecca rushed her freshman year of college under Initiate Advisor Alex Torres. She received a letter in the mail and along with a friend decided to come out to rush. During her Initiate Semester, Rebecca served as the President of Tau Initiate Class. During her first semester as a brother, Rebecca served as the secretary of the Fundraising committee (Fall 2007). In Spring of 2008, Rebecca was Nationally Inactive as she studied abroad in China. She was elected in the Fall of 2007 to serve as the Chapter Parliamentarian. She currently also is the Chair of the Service Committee. She was one of five brothers from Gamma Upsilon Chapter to attend National Convention this August in Nashville, TN.

Rebecca came into college as a declared Linguistics major and has since then added Anthropology as a double major, and is hoping to also receive a minor in Chinese. She currently plans on attending graduate school for Linguistic Anthropology.

Rebecca's big, Jessica Cox, was a wonderful mentor and brother during Rebecca's initiate semester. Jessa's big was Sarah Bunch. Jessa graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2007.
