Event Type: Restaurant Nights

Startup Cost: minimal other than costs for promotional materials

Time required: 1-2 weeks of promotion

Resources required: none

Materials required: none

Event Summary: many chain restaurants will offer organizations a percentage of sales for all customers they send to their restaurants on an agreed upon day.

Steps:

1. Find a local restaurant with this type of program and agree upon the day of the event

2. Promote event around campus and community, distributing any required coupons

3. Encourage Chapter members to go to the restaurant on the day of the event

4. Follow up with the restaurant following the event to collect the Chapter's percentage of sales
