* Proud brother of Sean Alexander Fernandez, who is currently in the 3 grade, taking Karate, playing soccer, and learning both French and Chinese.

* Richard started dancing in high school, doing musicals and attending D&D Dance Studio in Toledo Ohio.  When he got to University of Michigan, he joined Cornrows Dance Co. and eventually began working with the U of M Dance Dept.  He has performed in many senior BFA concerts and in 2010 was featured in a faculty-choreographed dance, La Luna Neuva, choreographed by Sandra Torijano. Currently he is debating pursuing dance any further while applying to physical therapy graduate programs.
