So not wanting to be the guy that overextends himself the first semester of college, Sam decided to take it easy, get acclimated to the college life, and focus on academics. And although the first semester presented very few challenges, Sam realized when the Spring semester rolled around that he had greater potential than what he exhibited during that previous semester. So he sought after Phi Sigma Pi. Sam has always believed that a group of people that strives for mutual benefits over mutual antagonisms, and one that collaborates, harmonizes, and has fun with each other all at the same time, has the potential to achieve extraordinary accomplishments. So with that mindset, Phi Sigma Pi and Sam were a perfect fit since day one, and it has been an experience full of great times and even greater people.
