After trying the Mock Trial Team in the fall, Sarah wanted to find an organization where she could have fun and make friends. After receiving an email encouraging students to rush Phi Sigma Pi, she believed she had found her answer. During the rush process, Sarah met [[Katie Williamson]] and [[Zach Bengtsson]] who became two of her best friends. Together, the three went through rush and initiation and were inducted with into the Alpha Mu class of the Betu Mu Chapter in the spring of 2012. They plan to become epic co-committee chairs sometime in the future, following in the footsteps of their bigs. Sarah is a member of the DH and Fjaras families. She loves her family (Jessie, Annie and Allison) very much. |

Sarah began GWU in the fall of 2011 after graduating from Acton-Boxborough High School in Massachusetts in June of 2011.
