Dr. Davis was invited to speak at Alpha's first Founder's Day address and inducted as an honorary member. He left Warrensburg later in 1919 and became president of the State Normal College in Dillon, Montana. This is now known as the University of Montana - Western. He served as president of the university until 1946.
