After graduating from Brush High School in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, Toby enrolled at GW in the Fall 2008 semester. She had had a few brief stints in other on-campus organizations, but never really got that into them. Upon receiving the e-mail in the Fall 2009 about rushing for Phi Sigma Pi, Toby half-heartedly decided she would give it a try. After a few rush events, Toby enthusiastically decided she was going to stick with it and was extremely happy with her decision after being invited to join the Initiate process.
