My fourth semester, spring 2007, at Louisiana State University, I got an email saying my GPA qualified me to join Phi Sigma Pi. This was the second time I had been invited, and I decided to go out of my comfort zone and away from my close group of friends from freshmen year. I went to the information night, alone, to check it out and recognized an old study buddy from a year before, Ana deAlvare, and an old neighbor from Herget Hall, Kelly Rau, and figured it must be pretty freaking awesome.
