Zach Hummel (born 6 March 1988) is an Active Member of Beta Delta (ΒΔ701) at North Carolina State University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Zach decided to enroll in North Carolina State's College of Engineering after being selected as a semi-finalist for the Park Scholarship. He graduated high school in 2006, after completing a pre-engineering program with Jack Britt High School's Integrated Systems Technology Academy, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. A few short weeks into his third year at NC State, he attended a Phi Sigma Pi open rush after receiving an e-mail invitation. He received a bid after that Fall 2008 rush, and served as class Treasurer for his Initiate class. He was inducted along with sixteen other members of the Alpha Eta Initiate Class in November, 2008.

Collegiate Years at Sample Chapter

During his first semester as an active Brother, Zach served as Leadership Co-Chair and Web Chair intern, despite the fact that he worked full-time as a Co-op with IBM. Zach was elected to the position of Internal Secretary for the following (2009-2010) year.

Zach thoroughly enjoys meeting Brothers from other Chapters. He has attended fraternity events with Brothers from Alpha Beta and Alpha Rho Chapters, as well as attending the 2009 National Convention as Beta Delta's delegate.
