On return to the United States in February of 2001, Manny joined with a hotel developer in Cincinnati, OH developing and operating some of the first Hilton Garden Inns across the Midwest. Following September 11th, Manny transitioned to working in more traditional hotel leadership roles with Hyatt, Crowne Plaza, and Marriott. Having learned the hotel trade from the best in the country, and having a passion for real estate, Manny earned his MBA from the University of Cincinnati and in Fall 2005, joined the family business of Steiner + Associates working in various leadership roles including head of restaurant development, asset management, and retail leasing. After 7 years, he decided it was time to leave the family business and moved to Fort Worth, TX where he worked for Trademark Property Company for 2 years before finally moving to New England Development in August 2013 in Boston. Manny is recognized as one of the leaders in the field of shopping centers and retail, appearing on numerous national panels, leading and serving several real estate organizations, and is often quoted in trade publications. In an industry of some 50,000 professionals, Manny was named Top 10 Under 40 in 2018 for his leadership, growth and contributions to the field. | |
