Central Region Conference
History
Events
In 2008, the Central Region Conference's theme was "PSP Around the World." The weekend, hosted by Gamma Sigma, included ice skating, round table discussions, a scavenger hunt, and a "Mr. and Miss PSP Pageant," the proceeds of which went to Heifer International. The pageant featured sportswear, formal wear, and talent portions and was extremely entertaining.
The 2009 region conference featured a "Legend of the Hidden Temples" theme, based of the popular Nicklodeon children's game show of the same name. The weekend, hosted by the Gamma Omega Chapter at the University of Nebraska, included board games and rock band on Friday Night, round table discussions, A "temple" building contest for Teach For America, a Legend of the Hidden Temple obstacle course, and Teach For America presentation. In attendance were at Region Consultant Kelly Albright, National President Jonah Goodman, and Vice President of Chapter Development Kyle Williams.
