Talk:Alpha Chapter
The moratorium on copyrighted works makes The Scholar's Province a forbidden source. Can this be exempted for our purposes, since both the copyright on Scholar's Province and this website are owned by the fraternity?
- If you are referencing portions of it for use on the wiki I feel as though that would be appropriate. See Penn State Alumni Chapter for an example. If this does not answer your question let me know and I can get an official decision from Council if that is what you are looking for. (Jonah 13:20, 19 March 2007 (EDT))
The problem arises when trying to adequately describe the early days of Alpha Chapter. Since the Scholar's Province is pretty much the only source (that I know of) on that topic, we'd have to reference a pretty large part of it (Like all of pages 7-8 in my 1999 copy). Pages for Hendricks, Phillips, & McClure may likewise require a large portion to be referenced. Perhaps getting approval from Council would be the best way, if it's not too much trouble, as that would cover our bases all around. (Alphamail2034 0:50, 20 March 2007 (CST))
