Alex left his hometown of Tucker, Georgia to brave the cold of Syracuse University in the Fall of 2005. On his second day of college, Alex met Bethany Post, and the two were fast friends. The next semester, Bethany became a Brother of Phi Sigma Pi, and through her, Alex was introduced to the organization.
