Cloy E. Whitney (1910-1979) — of Kirksville, Adair County, Mo. Born in Fort Morgan, Morgan County, Colo., November 15, 1910. Married 1934 to Anne M. Wood. Republican. Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II; insurance business; member of Missouri state house of representatives from Adair County, 1963-66. Baptist. Member, Freemasons; American Legion; Forty and Eight. Died in 1979. Burial location unknown.
