Emily Brown (born 1 April 1987) is an Active Member of Gamma Mu Chapter (ΓΜ 446) at Central Michigan University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Emily graduated from Coopersville High School in the top 10% of her class and decided to attend Central Michigan University in the Fall. Her first semester at CMU was spent on the Competitive Pom Pon Club where she made many lifetime friends. Emily rushed in the Spring 2006 with the Tau Class after receiving an informational letter. She was part of the PR committee in her New Member class and helped design the Tau Class T-shirts.

In her early years of Phi Sigma Pi, Emily was involved with the Service Committee and then went on to become Service Chair in the Fall of 2007. She planned and organized many amazing events inlcuding a school supply drive that helped the Chapter donate over 50 pounds of school supplies to Teach For America. Emily's involvement and love for Phi Sigma Pi has brought many new members to the Chapter and also driven her to get involved outside of the group.

Collegiate Years at Gamma Mu Chapter

Emily is currently serving on the social committee for the Spring 2009 semester. Emily attended the Great Lakes Regional Conference this past January at Miami of Ohio University. She enjoys learning more and more about Phi Sigma Pi everyday and the opportunities that can come from her involvement.

Emily has also become very involved with other organizations including Sigma Sigma Sigma, Order of Omega, Logistics Management Council and Supply Chain Management Association. She also holds an on-campus job where she is the friendly voice of Central Michigan University.

Bigs and Littles

Emily's Big is Lindsey Bramble, who rushed with the Rho Class.

After College...

Emily is currently employed at Jabil Circuit in Auburn Hills as a Material Planner. She lives in Rochester Hills and is enjoying life as a college graduate. She has also started her MBA at Oakland University where she is concentrating on Supply Chain Development. As her life settles down on the East Side, she is looking forward to getting involved with Phi Sigma Pi and Sigma Sigma Sigma on an Alumni Level. Her goals in in these areas are to set up a scholarship fund for active college students and also contribute both financially and as a leader to each organization. In summary, Emily is living and loving life and looks back on her years at Central and Phi Sigma Pi with tender memories.
