GoodShop is an Internet store listing powered by Yahoo! which shares profits with charitable causes. Along with GoodSearch, it is one of the "Other People's Money" (OPM) fundraising methods employed by Phi Sigma Pi.
How GoodShop Works
Goodshop is an online list of stores that have agreed to donate a portion of online sales to charitable causes. "Portal site GoodShop.com donates a percentage of all purchases to your charity of choice, without the hassle of registering, whenever you buy from one of 600 affiliated merchants including Target, Bloomingdale's and Zappo's." Supporting Phi Sigma Pi by Using GoodSearch
Help Phi Sigma Pi earn money, just by starting your online shopping at GoodShop's home page. Select 'Phi Sigma Pi' in the charity field and shop as you normally would. GoodShop simply will redirect you to one of the several hundred online stores you select. When the online store sees your incoming traffic come from GoodShop it will direct an preset percentage of your purchase or preset amount to the cause you have selected. The total cost of your purchase is the same as it would be if you didn't use GoodShop to navigate to the store. GoodShop automatically sends Phi Sigma Pi a check each month.
