Early Fraternity Life and Career
Loren initiated in Spring 2012 as a member of the Alpha Xi (AΞ) Class of the Beta Eta Chapter. She served as the class' Secretary and Service Chair. Alpha Xi was recognized that summer at the 2012 National Convention in Orlando, Florida for raising nearly $1000 for a local child with Rett's Syndrome who had been hospitalized due to her condition. Loren was awarded the Initiate Tripod Award, which recognizes an initiate who embraces scholarship, leadership and fellowship.
Once she became a Brother, Loren became the Service Chair for the Fall 2012 semester. Her ultimate goal for the semester was to get Phi Sigma Pi's name out into the community by reaching out to different groups of people including veterans, children, the elderly, and those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
