Loren initiated in Spring 2012 as a member of the Alpha Xi (AΞ) Class of the Beta Eta Chapter. She served as the class' Secretary and Service Chair. Alpha Xi was recognized that summer at the 2012 National Convention in Orlando, Florida for raising nearly $1000 for a local child with Rett's Syndrome who had been hospitalized due to her condition. Loren was awarded the Initiate Tripod Award, which recognizes an initiate who embraces scholarship, leadership and fellowship.

Once she became a Brother, Loren became the Service Chair for the Fall 2012 semester. Her ultimate goal for the semester was to get Phi Sigma Pi's name out into the community by reaching out to different groups of people including veterans, children, the elderly, and those affected by Hurricane Sandy. One of Loren's favorite services was volunteering to clean up the Susquehanna River with her Brothers and many other community members.

At the end of the semester, Loren received two awards. The Alpha Omicron initiating class bestowed upon her the Outstanding Brother Award. Loren also received the Brother Tripod Award, which is given to a Brother who best embodies Phi Sigma Pi's three tripod ideals: scholarship, leadership, and fellowship.

Loren currently serves as the philanthropy chair with specific focus on the fraternity's national philanthropy, Teach For America. She and the Brothers of Beta Eta will be hosting the Spike Out Inequality! Volleyball Tournament on March 8th to raise money for the local school district. Loren also took on the role as the Parliamentarian.

In the future, Loren plans to graduate from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and become a high school English teacher, specifically working with children who have learning disabilities.
