Marcus Hosteen (born October 28) is an Active Collegiate Member of the Delta Iota Chapter of Phi Sigma Phi National Honor Fraternity at New Mexico State University [1].

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Marcus Hosteen was born in Cortez, Colorado but grew up in Shiprock, New Mexcio. He attened Shiprock High School in Shiprock, New Mexico and graduated on May 22, 2010 at the top of his class, Valedictorian with a 4.067 GPA. During his high school years Marcus worked at the Office of Navajo Nation Scholaship and Financial Assistance (ONNSFA) where he also received the Chief Manueltio scholarship with pays him $7,000 a year for 4 years.
He came to New Mexico State University because of scholarship money, the close knitted community and it was the furthest he could get away from home while still remaining in New Mexico. For his first year Marcus focused mostly on his classes but by his second year got involved in a lot of student organizations. It was during this time that Marcus first heard of Phi Sigma Pi and after meeting with the Recruitment Advisor, Cynthia Mondragon convinced him to give the Fraternity a chance and after successful completed the Initiate Process was inducted into the Fraternity in Fall 2011.

Marcus is involved in a number of university organizations, at one point the number of organizations he was part of was 15. Currently he is actively involved in 7 organizations including Phi Sigma Pi and they include:
- Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society
- Gamma Beta Phi National Honor Society
- Sigma Alpha Lambda National Honor Society
- National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS)
- Native American Business Student Association (NABSA)
- United Native American Organization (UNAO)
Marcus is active in all these organizations including holding officer positions in each.
- He is currently the Chapter President for the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society at New Mexico State University
- He is currently the Chapter Treasurer for the Gamma Beta Phi National Honor Society at New Mexico State University
- He is currently the Chapter Treasurer for the Sigma Alpha Lambda National Honor Society at New Mexico State University
- He is currently the Vice President of Community Services for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) at New Mexico State University
- He is currently the Vice President for the Native American Business Student Association (NABSA) at New Mexico State University
- He is currently the Vice President for the United Native American Organization (UNAO) at New Mexico State University. However on September 28, 2012 he resigned as Vice President due to internal issues within the chapter but remains a member.
In terms of the Chapter Marcus is currently the Chapter Treasurer. He is also the chair for the Fundraising and Service Committee.
National Involvement
Marcus attended the WICKED convention in Phoenix, Arizona in February 2011.
Currently Marcus plans to the attend the National Convention in 2013.

Marcus' Grand Big is Amanda Villasenor.
Travis Derek Gee (Alumni) is Marcus' Big.
In addition to Marcus, Travis also had two more Littles, Michael Row (Alumni) and Roxanne De Luna (Alumni)
