Melissa Ferniz (born January 28, 1985) is an Active Member of the Gamma Theta Chapter (418) at Louisiana State University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Melissa started at Louisiana State University in the Fall of 2003. During the spring semester of her sophomore year, Melissa decided to rush Phi Sigma Pi on the recommendation of some friends and the friendly nature of the Gamma Theta Brothers. Melissa was formally inducted in April of 2005 as part of the Sigma class.

Collegiate Years at Gamma Theta Chapter

As a member of the Gamma Theta chapter, Melissa was the Co-chair of the Ad-hoc Hurricane Relief Committee (Fall 2005), and the Initiate Advisor (Spring 2006, Fall 2006, Spring 2007). Melissa was awarded the Fellowship award from her chapter for the 2006-2007 year.

Melissa is still an active Brother and plans to graduate in December 2007 with a degree in Microbiology.
