Before studying abroad in America, Quang spent a year in rural town [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christchurch Christchurch, New Zealand] his 8th grade and he realized that it was too early to leave his family. He also went to French speaking school in Vietnam since his 1st grade and after 13+ years he sadly realized that French would not work out. When entering [http://www.syr.edu Syracuse University] he was majoring in Hospitality Management as well as many other majors and he quickly realized that it was not right.

Quang V. Nguyen (born 22 March 1987) is an Active Member of Beta Epsilon Chapter (ΒΕ 528) at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. He is a member of the Alpha Zeta pledge class of Fall 2007.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Quang was born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, the biggest city in Vietnam. He attended the British International School and later went to Fryeburg Academy, a preparatory boarding school in Fryeburg, Maine. His U.S. education continued when he went to Syracuse University in the Fall 2006. In the Spring 2007, Quang got an invitation letter to rush Phi Sigma Pi but did not go to the meetings due to his Human Sexuality CFS 388 class at night. While at Syracuse, he lived in the MLLC his freshman year where he met his floor-mate Jeniffer Manon and her pledged brother Frances Escano who were both inducted in the Spring 2007. Quang got to know more about Phi Sigma Pi and he became a Brother in the Fall 2007 as part of the Alpha Zeta class.
