Early Fraternity Life and Career

Sarah came to USF in the fall of 2006. During the summer of 2008, she realized that she had been wasting her time at college and wanted to be more involved in campus life. She decided to attend a rush info session after receiving an email from Phi Sigma Pi. She fell in love with the organization and the people, and was inducted as a member of the Lambda class in the fall of 2008.

Collegiate Years at Epsilon Delta

Sarah has served on the Service committee and the Relay for Life temporary committee during her first semester as an Active Member. She later moved to the Awards & Scholarship committee, where she led events such as sushi making and Russian language lessons.

She was elected one of the initiate advisors for the 2009-2010 school year. During the fall semester, Sarah helped to continue on the tradition of a weekend camping retreat and helped to prepare 6 wonderful Initiates for their national exam.

After a few opportunities came around during the fall semester, Sarah decided to drop the Initiate Advisor position in the spring to focus on her research and career preparation. But when the position of parliamentarian opened up for Spring 2010, Sarah ran for and won the position, allowing her to remain leading the Chapter in a position that fits better with her academic commitments.

Alumni Years to Present

Sarah went through the Alumni ceremony at the end of the Spring 2010 semester. Epsilon Delta hasn't seen the end of her, however, as she has been accepted into a three year graduate program at USF.
