Alumni Years to Present
It appears that Knight went on to teach at Westminster College and eventually would become Dean of Westminster College. Documents from the Harry S. Truman Library & Museum document photography notes of the former President Truman attending a graduation ceremony at Westminster, with Knight, in 1954 [2]. Additional photographs from the Truman Library and Museum also show Alben Barkley, former Vice-President to Harry Truman, attending a ceremony at Westminster with Knight in 1951 [3], [4].
While at Westminster College, Knight very likely made acquaintances with Winston Churchill, who gave a speech there in 1946. Documents show that Churchill presented Knight with a personal revolver as a gift in 1946 [5].
In 1954, Knight goes onto to Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College, now known as Oklahoma State, to become head of the history department [6].
