In 1933 the fraternity decided to skip that year's Grand Chapter Conference. Instead they held two region conferences due to economic reasons. The western Conclave was hosted at Delta Chapter in Pittsburg, Kansas and the east Conclave met in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
Western Conclave
The split in the Grand Chapter locations is detailed in the 1933 Beta Chapter Annual Newsletter. Those in attendance representing Beta Chapter were;
- C.H. McClure, National Vice President
- S.E. Smith, Sponsor
- Howard Skinner, President
- Graham Bray, Secretary
- Joseph Bray
Eastern Conclave
The 1933 Carontawan, Mansfield University's yearbook, mentions the Eastern Conclave taking place in Indiana, PA. At this meeting Brothers Are We is adopted by the Grand Chapter.
