1979
- Alpha Chapter goes inactive for the fourth time due to poor national support.
- Beta Gamma Chapter struggles with going coeducational. Theta, Iota, Tau and Phi Chapters go coeducational successfully; however Phi Chapter only remains active until 1982. Pi and Sigma Chapters remain all-male. The National Office does not force Pi or Sigma Chapter to go coeducational.
