- March 18-20 - The Self-Confidence and Phire Acquired through Research & Knowledge (SPARK) Leadership Institute is held in Martinsville, Indiana, providing Brothers across the country an opportunity to develop their leadership potential
June
- June 10-12 - The first Alumni Convention is held in Las Vegas, Nevada
August
- August 4-7 - Grand Chapter Conference held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Phi Sigma Pi Foundation is formed.
September
- September 14 - Lisa Ambrosia Howard elected to the position of National President by National Council following the resignation of Kara Domby
November
- November 11-13 - 2005 National Convention is held in Atlanta, Georgia. Joseph Torchia Outstanding Chapter Awards are awarded to Beta Chapter, Omicron Chapter, and Tau Chapter. The first ever Rolla F. Wood Graduate Scholarship is awarded to John Chen of Delta Omega Chapter.
