Spring 2010
The Beta Upsilon chapter saw a lot of growth in the Spring 2010 semester, and this growth came in terms of both chapter strengthening, a dedicated pledge class, and a growth of inter-chapter relations. Beta Upsilon held the honor of hosting the 2010 Northeast Regional Conference at UMass during their TFA 5K race weekend.
New E-Board
The New Eboard was installed in the spring 2010 as the exec board is now in coordinate to the calendar year and composed of President:Ashley Blubaugh, Vice President: Kory Lydon, Secretary: Alix Kaye, Treasurer: Jennifer Banks, Parliamentarian:Ryan Hebert, Rush Advisor:Jamie Bergstein, Initiate Advisor:Alon Rivel, Historian:Samuel Asciotti, and Brother at Large: Uriel Rodriguez This eboard made a commitment to revamping the attitude and moral of the chapter.
Northeast Regional Conference
The Beta Upsilon Chapter hosted this years Northeast Region Conference (NERC) at it's UMASS campus. Attendees were from chapters across the Northeast Region. The theme was Dr. Seuss and the Regional Delegate that organized the event was Stephanie Geiser (Alpha Alpha) with help from delegates of other chapters and the BY chapter. Some events included a green eggs and ham lunch, round table discussions, a dance, and the 3rd annual 5k road race to benefit Teach for America
Third Annual TFA 5K Run
The Third Annual TFA 5K took place on the Northeast Regional Conference (NERC) and had over 60 runners.
