Daniel Mendez (born 16 August 1989) is an Active Member of Delta Iota Chapter at New Mexico State University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Daniel Mendez went to high school at Santa Fe High in Santa Fe, New Mexico and graduated in 2007. He came to NMSU because of scholarship money and their Aerospace Engineering program. He joined Phi Sigma Pi to get more involved and to meet new people. He also felt Phi Sigma Pi offered a good balance of social, leadership, and service activities. He was treasurer of his initiate class and was initiated in Fall 2008.
Collegiate Years at Delta Iota Chapter
In his first Active semester at Delta Iota Chapter, in the Spring of 2009, Daniel became the Scholarship & Awards Committee Co-Chair.
National Involvement
None so far, though he plans to attend WICKED and National Convention.
Bigs and Littles
Daniel's Big Brother is Jaime Guerra, who is an Alumnus of Delta Iota and currently residing in Las Cruces, NM.
Daniel has had two littles:
1. Mario Gonzalez Jr. (Sigma Class) - Alumni, Graduated May 2011
2. Daniel Teran (Phi Class) - Alumni, Graduated May 2012
3. Megan Murray (Chi Class) - Current Brother
Daniel also has one grandlittle, Katelyn Jeffs (Psi Class), from Megan Murray.
