John Finnegan, aka Brother Finn (born 24 September 1970) is a distinguished Alumnus of Alpha Delta Chapter, and former President of Delaware Valley Alumni Chapter (DVAC), and is an Honorary Brother of Kappa Chapter and also of Alpha Lambda Chapter. He also served on the Phi Sigma Pi Foundation Board of Directors.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Finn enrolled at Widener in Fall 1987 after graduating from Msgr. Bonner High School in Drexel Hill, PA. As a second semester freshmen, he was looking for a student organization to become heavily involved in when he received a letter inviting him to help start an honor fraternity new to Widener's campus called Phi Sigma Pi. Intrigued by the blend of scholarship, leadership and fellowship, as well as the "easy" path of starting a new chapter rather than joining an established fraternity, he joined Phi Sigma Pi in Spring 1988 as one of its Founders.
Collegiate Years at Alpha Delta Chapter
- Was two term Undergrad Chapter Treasurer and one year Chapter Social Chair
- Helped launch Alpha Delta's longest running social event, the Green Toga party for St. Patty's Day in 1989
- Commuted my first three years, lived on campus my Senior Year, roomed with two fellow Alpha Delta's; Mike Peters & N. Robert Hopf, called our place the 15th Street Cabaret!!
- Graduated with a B.S. in Accounting in 1991
Alumni Years to Present
Most proud of my 20+ years of continued involvement in Phi Sigma Pi since graduation!! Have road-tripped and visited the following chapters [non-Philly region]: Iota [my first PSP trip!], Kappa, Tau, Alpha Mu, Alpha Rho, Omicron, Gamma Phi, and Alpha Theta!

National Convention Attendance
Brother Finn holds the current record for most National Conventions attended, currently at 23. He attended his first Convention in 1988, and has been present at every year since, with the exception of the National Convention held in Annapolis, MD, in 1990. In 2008 Finn's streak of being recognized with the Most Conventions Attended Award was retired to allow other Alumni to be recognized for their ongoing commitment.
