Early Fraternity Life and Career

Samantha initiated in Spring 2010 with the Alpha Kappa class. She won the Initiate Tripod Award which is a great honor as an initiate. After becoming a brother of Phi Sigma Pi, she took on the rule as Public Relations Chair in the Fall 2010.The semester after she was the service chair where she had the fraternity participate in a Domestic Violence Awareness night as well as being a part of Relay for Life. In the Fall 2011 she was the Aids Walk Chair where we raised over $600 for the Aids Project in town. It was a huge accomplishment and something that she is very proud of. After Aids Walk she took on the rule as Initiate Adviser to 11 wonderful initiates of the Alpha Xi class Koty Krempasky, Loren Appolonia, Liane Wilson, Samantha Snyder, Jeannelle Gervais, Amanda Gray, Justin Shoemaker, Kristen Zimmer, Erika Pennycuik, and Katie Kosiorek . They are wonderful people and she is proud to have had such a big part in their initiating process. Her last year as a Brother she had the position of Vice President. Her Last semester as a Brother she received TWO fabulous Littles, Kristin Dotterer and Ashley McMcLain, they are amazing people and I could not be happier to be their Big. It is a blast being a part of this fraternity and she is glad to call this fraternity her home.
