Stephanie attended Clemson University to obtain her master's in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs. She served as a Resident Director for two residence halls. She went to a few Beta Kappa events and helped present at the regional conference when it was hosted at Clemson University. She graduated from Clemson in May 2010.

After graduation, Stephanie moved to Ames, Iowa to start a position at Iowa State University. She works as a Hall Director for one of the largest residence halls in the country. She works on several projects in the Department of Residence as well as throughout the university. She also teaches an academic skills course. While at Iowa State University Stephanie was instrumental in helping to organize and advise an expansion effort on campus.
