Dr. Clarence Henry McClure (born January 2, 1873) was an Alumni Member of Alpha Chapter (Α 3) at Central Missouri State University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Dr. McClure served Warrensburg for eighteen years and thirteen years as the head of History Department. The introduction of his book The United States of America lists him as the former head of the Department of Social Studies.
McClure the teaching position at the State Teachers College, Kirksville, Missouri (now known at Truman State University) in 1928 where he worked to form the Beta Chapter of Phi Sigma Pi. Beta Chapter was officially founded in 1929.
Dr. McClure served both National Counselor and Vice President from 1930 to 1937. He published several books (listed below). He was awarded the first Distinguished Service Key ever issued by Phi Sigma Pi in 1931.
