Early Fraternity Life and Career
Becky transferred to The Ohio State University after briefly attending the University of Cincinnati for her freshman year of college. A commuter student, Becky was desperate to find her niche on campus and lucky enough to stumble on a rush event for Phi Sigma Pi. At her first rush event she met Brothers Mike Johnson and Nick Emerson. Excited by Mike’s love for the fraternity and Nick’s cute face, she decided the Beta Iota chapter was the right place for her to be.
Becky spent three years as an actively involved member of the Beta Iota chapter. She held several leadership positions and attended many inter-chapter event including regional conferences, Tau Founders' Day and Mardi Gras. During her time as Service Chair, Becky lead the chapter in hosting a 100 person Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament that raised over $1,000 for Red Cross disaster relief following Hurricane Katrina.
Since graduating, Becky has entered the field of non-profit fund-raising, which she enjoys. After graduating from Ohio State she accepted a position as the Manager of the Phonathon and Legacy Fund for Xavier University. In August of 2007 she became the Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Strategic Direct Marketing at The Ohio State University. Currently Becky is working for Ohio Wesleyan University as an Assistant Director of the Ohio Wesleyan Fund and Director of the Parents Fund.
Becky co-founded the Phi Sigma Pi Columbus Area Alumni Association with Mbabndah Ndobegang and currently serves as the Vice President of PSPCAAA.
